Exercise eases back pain
Do you have a nagging low back issue? If you do then take note…
Low back pain that’s left untreated, will eventually alter ones ability to move/ function. Which in turn will lead to musculoskeletal degeneration (poor muscular mechanics and strength). This condition is common in nearly 80% of adults.
To combat this, one needs to participate in an exercise program that:
-enhances core musculature
-improves muscular endurance
-enhances joint stability
-better postural control
-improves balance and muscle coordination
If you are someone with low back pain exercise can be very beneficial, but be careful because certain exercises can make your condition worse. Seek out a professional for help!

Dementia is a catch all term used to describe persistent or chronic mental disorders caused by brain disease or injury.
While there is so much that we are still learning this disease… one thing that does appear to have positive effects is EXERCISE. I mentioned in an early post that exercise is vital for brain health because nothing else “lights” up the brain like physical activity.

Easy snacks are not difficult to come by; you just need to be a little creative. A few suggestions would be apple and string cheese, rice cakes and peanut butter, cottage cheese and pineapple, yogurt, dried fruit, wheat thins, trail-mix, fresh fruit, almonds (raw)… the list goes on!
Exercise lowers risk of Certain Cancers!
This is an especially motivating “reason” for me. I lost my Mom to cancer (stomach) when she was only 53yrs old and my dad is a cancer survivor (colon). He is now doing great!!
Let’s face it… We are all going to die however, being in better health gives you a fighting chance. Fitness (and the pursuit thereof) is a good fight that you can be apart of.
