The next time you lace up to go for a “relaxed” run do some INTERVALS instead. Basically, intervals is where you sprint for 1min and walk for 1min for a prescribed amount of time. This is a more productive activity for boosting the metabolism. This style of running will be anything but relaxed. Give it a try!
